My practice focuses on children and adolescents, primarily working with kids under the age of 15. I work individually with children while also collaborating closely with parents and caregivers through consultation and guidance related to their child’s development and emotional well-being.

I commonly work with children and families navigating concerns such as:

• Anxiety and worries

• Low mood or depression

• Difficulties with peer relationships

• Attachment and relational challenges

• Emotional regulation and behavioral concerns

• School-related stress or academic pressure

• Self-esteem and confidence

• Family transitions or adjustment challenges

While many children experience meaningful emotional struggles at times, my practice is not structured to support high-risk clinical situations that require crisis care or intensive treatment.

How I Work

My approach is collaborative, developmentally informed, and tailored to each child’s personality, strengths, and needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based and expressive modalities, including:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

• Play Therapy

• Art Therapy

• Solution-Focused Therapy

These approaches allow therapy to meet children where they are developmentally and help them express thoughts and emotions in ways that feel natural and accessible.

I also believe that children grow and change within relationships. For this reason, I view children within the context of their family system and place strong emphasis on parent collaboration. In addition to individual sessions with children, I regularly work with parents through consultation, reflection, and practical strategies that support their child’s emotional growth and strengthen family connection.

Above all, I aim to create a space where children feel safe, understood, and empowered, and where families feel supported as partners in the therapeutic process.

Cost Per Session

The initial parent-only intake session is a one-time fee of $400. This session is 45–60 minutes in length and also includes time spent reviewing any provided records and gathering background information to ensure a thoughtful and comprehensive understanding of your child and family.

Ongoing sessions are $275 for a 50-minute appointment.

I do not accept insurance. However, I am able to provide documentation and superbills for families who wish to seek potential reimbursement through their insurance provider.

Appointments

Finding the right support for your child is an important decision. The process is designed to feel clear, thoughtful, and collaborative from the beginning. The steps below outline what you can expect as we determine whether this approach and support are the right fit for your child and family.

  • Initial inquiry. The first step is to send a message sharing a brief overview of your concerns and what you are hoping to address. This provides an opportunity to determine whether the services offered align with your family’s needs.

  • Complimentary 20-minute consultation. If it feels appropriate to move forward, a complimentary 20-minute consultation will be scheduled. This brief conversation allows parents to share concerns, ask questions, learn more about the therapeutic approach, and determine whether there is a good fit on both sides.

  • Complete intake paperwork. If moving forward together feels like the right next step, families will be invited to complete more detailed intake paperwork to provide important background information and help guide the therapeutic process.

  • Parent-only intake session. The next step is a formal 45min-1 hour parent intake session. This meeting provides space to gather a deeper understanding of your child’s strengths, developmental history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. Together, we will clarify priorities and determine the most supportive path forward.

  • Begin weekly therapy sessions. Therapy begins with weekly sessions for your child to establish consistency, build a strong therapeutic relationship, and support meaningful progress.

  • Ongoing parent support and communication. Parent-only sessions are scheduled approximately every 4–6 weeks to review progress, discuss themes emerging in therapy, and provide guidance and support. Throughout treatment, there is ongoing communication regarding your child’s growth and progress.

  • Review progress and determine next steps. As goals are met, session frequency may be reduced. Treatment concludes when there is a shared understanding that your child has made meaningful progress and no longer requires ongoing therapeutic support.
